Rancho Santa Fe School District API scores at an all-time high
Academic Performance Index 2011 to 2013: Best API (Academic Performance Index) ever in 2012 for the District. Highest API for Elementary School in all of San Diego County 2012 & 2013.
RSF Arts Department - MUSE Program (Mastering Unique Self Expression)
I am so proud that we were able to create an award-winning music education program, known as MUSE (Mastering Unique Self Expression), which includes three levels of Instrument instruction, a two tier Strings Program, and two Concert Choirs, as well as the creation of a new Drama Program, and a Technical Theatre Program. Currently 33% of the Student Body participates in Music as of 2014.
iPad Rollout / Robotics Program
Mobile Device Education Technology Rollout: Upgrade and rollout of 1:1 mobile devices in the middle school and 50% deployment in k-4, 100% deployment in grades 5-8.
Creation of award-winning Robotics program for K-8 in conjunction with FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL®) and the Jr. FLL Core Values program. In 2014 we also integrated and expanded the inclusion of basic programming languages and the Hour of Code National program into the curriculum.
